Guatemala Update | Hogar Solidario

WCSG in Guatemala
Michelle and Cesar pray for a teenage girl at Hogar Solidario Orphanage.

We just finished our first day!  We were at the government orphanage, Hogar Solidario, and were able to minister to the teenage girls.  It was a beautiful facility and the children were well cared for and so precious.  We did salvation bracelets with them and shared Scripture.  One team member shared her testimony of God’s redeeming love and power over difficulties in her life.  The girls’ hearts were so touched and there were many healing tears.  One girl, Danielle, made an impact on me.  She had a light in her face.  I truly believe that our Lord will use her as she grows even though she is in a difficult situation now.  I will treasure the warm hugs I received.  What a blessing from the Lord!

Please continue to pray for the team as we move to the next orphanage tomorrow.  -Linda

May the Lord bless and keep all of you and make His face to shine upon you and through you as you minister in this country. May you all be His hands and feet to His children in Guatemala. Sarah, hugs and prayers to you every day! Listen to the heart of God. You may hear Him in ways you never could before back here at home!!!!

May God bless all of you with new understanding and wisdom as you experience a new culture and meet new people. May He use this time to shape you and purify your hearts and intentions. May He work wonders through you and demonstrate His love to you as you demonstrate it to others. Allow God to use you as vessels, to flow through you. Sarah, recuerde que Dios te bendiga muchisima y te amo mucho tambien!
