Ryan Stevenson’s “Eye of the Storm” has had a surge in popularity over the past couple of weeks thanks to Hurricane Florence.
First it was students and staff singing along in preparation for the landfall of Hurricane Florence. Well, more recently, students and staff at schools across the country stood and prayed around the school’s flagpole for See You at the Pole.
More than 100 members of the Lake View High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes club in South Carolina were filmed singing and praying for Florence flood victims as those families begin the long journey of cleaning, salvaging and rebuilding.
As they sang, the students also lifted signs for each community affected by Hurricane Florence and the subsequent flooding. Signs for Conway, Lumberton, Wilmington, and many more were held in support of those who have a long road of recovery ahead. Check it out below.
