Turkey Chili


1.25 lbs. extra lean ground turkey

1 quart stewed tomatoes (or 2 cans 15 oz. will do)

2 15 oz. cans of dark red Kidney beans (not drained)

1 medium onion peeled and chopped


Cook turkey and brake up in pan until small chunks add a sprinkle of chili
powder over top of meat while cooking. Cook turkey until no longer pink
and well cooked. Cool and place into a plastic bowl with chopped onion on
top, cover with lid and place in refrigerator until next morning.

Place meat, onions, tomatoes, and kidney beans in a crock pot and cook on
low for eight hours or more. You can add more chili powder to taste with
salt and pepper, and serve with corn muffins.
