The Sheriff's Department asks we keep an eye out for thefts from construction sites in Kent County and beyond.

KENT COUNTY, Mich: Since the beginning of the month, the Kent County Sheriff's Office has noticed increased thefts from construction sites. Approximately $23,000.00 worth of trailers, tools, and construction materials were stolen from different job sites throughout the county.

KCSO has noticed that housing developments and larger remodeling projects are being targeted. We encourage people living in the new developments to call KCSO if they see anything suspicious. Additionally, KCSO encourages construction companies to have cameras installed on their job sites so law enforcement can quickly identify suspects.

If you have information that could help to move the investigation forward, please call the KCSO at 616-632-6125, or call Silent Observer at 616-774-2345 to report information safely and anonymously.

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
