Today we celebrate Pret Vruggink on what would have been his 81st birthday. No doubt he would have been seen outside chopping wood as the sun came up. He was a faithful husband, devoted father, and proud grandpa. To know Pret was to see and hear Jesus as he lived out Philippians 4:8. His heart reflected the goodness of God as he humbly served those around him. He was a man of prayer who was slow to speak and always looked for the good in any situation or person. Pret lived a life that showed the love, grace and mercy of God, his Savior. Today his family honors and celebrates his life with countless memories of camping, hiking, family time and vacation adventures.

O Lord my God, you have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them.
