2/10/25 Kelloggsville Church

In 1875, a group of Christians met in a home in Kentwood with the goal of starting a rural church. Soon they built a church building and when that burned down, they built another. When they outgrew that building, they dismantled it and built the current church on 52nd Street near Eastern Avenue. This month, we praise God for 150 years of faithfulness as we have worshiped, held weddings, funerals and celebrations. We’ve sent members off to war and prayed for our local community supporting them in times of plenty and times of struggle. What started as a small country church has now touched the lives of thousands of people in West Michigan. God is good. For celebration details, visit KelloggsvilleChurch.org.

We are merely moving shadows, and all our busy rushing ends in nothing. We heap up wealth, not knowing who will spend it. And so, Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you.
