Susie & Jenna visit Horse Play Equestrian in Hudsonville for their Live Nativity! Tis' the season – for live nativity scenes. Our WCSG’s Travelin’ Together series stops at the Horse Play Equestrian for a live nativity that takes a unique turn. The entire ranch has been transformed into a Winter Wonderland with scenes that will delight the senses and add excitement to your adventure. Walk through dozens of settings inside the ranch where you can pet the animals, decorate cookies, and enjoy many Christmas inflatables. The Peppermint Cafe, where you can enjoy hot cocoa and a donut. Over 40 lighted trees will be on display, in the Gingerbread Forest, and at the Snowman Selfie Station, you can take pictures with a 16-foot-tall snowman. The focal point of the ranch will be the live nativity. Live animals will add authenticity to the stable area where Adding more to the Nativity is a narrator sharing the story of the birth of Christ while actors and animals help play out the story. According to the ranch's Facebook page: "The King’s story will be live, with real people and animals telling the story of Jesus and why He came. This experience is truly not like anything that you have seen." The event is free and if you are able, the ranch is accepting non-perishable food items for their local pantry. The first Live Nativity show begins at 5:30pm with additional shows continuing through the evening until all guests have seen it. Parking is at North Blendon CRC and bus service starts at 4:30pm.
