Did you know there is a vessel in West Michigan with a unique history that dates back over 100 years? We hop aboard the Milwaukee Clipper as part of our WCSG Travelin’ Together. The ship has its origins in Muskegon, following a three-decade service as a passenger and freight steamer. The ship underwent multiple renovations and during World War II served multiple ports including Muskegon, Milwaukee, and Chicago where she transported thousands of passengers weekly between the cities. As part of the vessel's attempt at authenticity, they accept donations related to the era the vessel was operational. Donations are reviewed by a panel for acceptance. You can take part in several special events this year, including a 4th of July Fireworks Watch Party, and the celebration of the Captain's 101st Birthday party in August. The Clipper will be open daily from Thursday to Sunday from 1-5 pm for tours. The ship has been named to the National Register of Historic Sites, and in May, 1989 was designated a National Historic Landmark. You can learn more about tours as well as more history on the ship by visiting their website SS Milwaukee.

But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God’s instruments to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you – from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted.
