Each summer fairgrounds across the state hold community fairs that emphasize youth and agriculture to educate, entertain and provide a wholesome family atmosphere. Many young people have spent weeks ahead of time getting their animals and exhibits ready for showcasing. This next week is the Berlin Fair in Marne where exhibits will again include livestock as well as agricultural products and various other displays. They will designate special days for kids, veterans, seniors and those with disabilities. The carnival will be back along with entertainment in the grandstands. There will be monster trucks, truck and tractor pulls, and musical groups that will be featured. The Berlin Fair will kick off Sunday, July 3, 2022, with a Praise Night that includes a hymn sing and ice-cream social. The middle of July will feature more area fairs and will wind down in September with the Allegan County Fair.
