The annual country fair in Otsego County is the destination of this week’s WCSG’s Travelin’ Together.

The Otsego County Fair officially starts this Sunday with a mix of the old fashioned and the modern. Two of the more popular events include the Draft Horse Pull on Tuesday night, where teams compete to pull various weights down a track in the fastest time. The teams are watched closely by their handlers to ensure the horses’ safety. Western Days features Cowboy Church on Sunday, Round ‘em Up Kids Camp, and Bull Riding.

Another favorite is the annual Bump & Run car competition being held at the fairgrounds grandstand. For more information on schedules, pricing, and special discounts, visit their website - Otsego County Fair.

Encouraging Words From Your Bible

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
