A two day conference May 16-17, 2025 for homesteaders of all kinds providing homesteading skills and community.
The second annual Mitten Homesteaders Conference is planned for May 16-17 at the Lake Odessa Fairgrounds, Mi. The two days include speakers, demonstrations, product and service vendors,and food trucks. Speakers from all over Michigan will teach on homesteading topics ranging from animal production, gardening, cottage crafts and lifestyle impacts. Demonstrations on various traditional skills will take place as well as intensive workshops. This is the first and only event of its kind with presenters exclusively from Michigan for a unique perspective on homesteading.
Tickets are accessed through the website www.mittenhomesteaders.com and can be purchased in advance. The website has visuals of the first conference in 2024, and the topics and speakers for the current conference. There is convenient camping available at the fairgrounds which has undergone attractive updates over the last few years, making it a hospitable location for the event.
