A new EPIC-MRA poll for the Governor's race in Michigan was released this morning.
A new poll released this morning shows the governor’s race in Michigan continues to fluctuate as we near the November 8th election. Governor Gretchen Whitmer holds a nine-point advantage over challenger Tudor Dixon, a margin similar to survey numbers from this summer. The EPIC-MRA poll shows Dixon appears to have closed a dramatic 16-point deficit from a month ago.
FiveThirtyEight, another polling organization, puts the numbers a little differently. 51% of those respondents are in support of Whitmer, while 40% support Dixon for Governor.
Around 47% of respondents of the EPIC-MRA poll say the state of Michigan’s economy is currently headed in the wrong direction, with 38% believing its headed in the right direction. Controlling inflation and the rising costs of food and energy are the top priority of Michigan voters, with 29% saying it is their number one concern.
