The major parties plan to attract voters in West Michigan with stops in two communities this week.

Both Democrat and Republican campaigns will be making stops in West Michigan this week, ahead of the upcoming November election.

GOP Presidential nominee Donald Trump and his pick for Vice President J.D. Vance, will campaign in Grand Rapids. The campaign releasing a list of stops which includes the Van Andel Arena on Saturday. The rally is scheduled to begin at 5pm.

Vice President Kamala Harris will be in Kalamazoo today. This marks her fourth visit to the state this year. Details of her stop will not be made available till later.

Political experts say the visits signal an important role in the upcoming election. They say the visits emphasize the importance of the state in this year’s election. They also say it could be a sign that every vote will be critical to each campaign.
