The Frederik Meijer Gardens will host the annual Butterflys are Blooming event. This is the 30 season for the gardens in West Michigan.
The popular ‘Butterflies Are Blooming’ exhibit is returning to Frederick Meijer Gardens.
Over 60 butterfly and moth species from around the world will be on display. Over one thousand chrysalids will be delivered weekly to the gardens. The five-story, 15,000-square-foot glass house provides the ideal tropical setting for these vibrant world travelers. Guests will marvel at a variety of species, from dazzling blue morphos and stealthy clearwings to majestic Atlas moths and elegant tree nymphs. Each species adds its own unique brushstroke to this living canvas of color and motion.
The gardens are also celebrating their 30th anniversary. The event starts March first and runs through April 30th.
