Save This Life failed to notify customers they would be closing shop, and now pet owners say they are worried for their pets.

If you own a pet you may have been wondering about this company called Save This Life. It's a microchipping company that went dark and now has pet owners concerned about their animals.

The company stated they were a unique technology that provided additional services if your pet went missing. The company has been in business for years, but at the end of last month failed to return phone calls or replying to emails.

To take an immediate approach, if you feel your pet may be affected, you can call or visit your local vets office and they can scan your pet to ensure it is still registered.

If you are worried, you can check the American Animal Hospital Association to see if you need to re-register your pet. You can find the information MICROCHIP REGISTRY.
