The busiest U.S. / Canada border crossing is now back open. Several protestors were arrested.

The Ambassador Bridge reopened to traffic Sunday night.  It had been closed for several days due to protesting.

Truckers from the Freedom Convoy and others had gathered to protest COVID-19 vaccine mandates and other COVID-19-related restrictions.  Demonstrations continue in the capital of Ottawa.  Police in Windsor, Ontario, arrested 25 to 30 protesters on Sunday near the Ambassador Bridge.

The bridge is the busiest border crossing between the United States and Canada. The crossing sees 25% of all trade between the two countries.

The blockade impacted some auto plants due to parts shortages.

He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth, for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He is never to take wine or other fermented drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even before he is born.
