Former President Donald Trump is set to be arraigned on Tuesday. Charges will be disclosed then.
(NEW YORK) - A Grand Jury in Manhattan voted to indict former President Donald Trump.
The charges have not been specifically disclosed but are said to stem from alleged payments made during the 2016 presidential campaign.
Former President Trump is set to be arraigned next Tuesday and appear in court in Lower Manhattan. Charges against the former President are expected to be read aloud then.
The attorney for former President Trump said the former President did not commit any crime and they will vigorously fight this political prosecution in court.
Trump released his own statement calling the indictment, "....political persecution and election interference at the highest level in history."
