The Defense and Prosecution give competing narratives over the involvement of four men accused of plotting to kidnap the Governor.
The trial of four men, accused of plotting to kidnap Governor Gretchen Whitmer, has adjourned for the day.
Brandon Casterta, Barry Croft Jr., Adam Fox, and Daniel Harris all face conspiracy charges.
The prosecutions argument is that the four willingly joined and were complicit in planning the crime.
The Defense arguments appear to be that the whole plot originated with FBI informants who pushed others into joining them because of their distrust of the government. They accuse informants of plying the men with drugs, switching off recording devices at times that suited them, then turning them back on when the men were most vulnerable.
Trial is expected to resume Thursday morning in Grand Rapids.
