Returning runners who have taken part in the annual River Bank Run in Grand Rapids, will find changes this year.
The River Bank Run in Grand Rapids will celebrate its 45th year.
It will be held again this year on the second Saturday in May.
David Madiol, Amway River Bank Run race director says there will be some changes to this years Amway River Bank Run on May 14.
Those changes include new race courses for all three events.
The 5K, 10K and 25K will start on Ottawa Avenue and end at Monroe and Pearl.
The 25K will essentially be run backward and all the hills will be at the beginning of the race.
Finish fest will be held indoors at DeVos Place.
This year's River Bank Run will also host two previous winners: Parker Stinson and Alphine Tuliamuk.
River Bank Run organizers say between 1,000 and 1,500 volunteers are needed to make race day run smoothly and they can always use extra help. Those interested can sign up online to help.
