Tuesday is Election Day in the state of Michigan. Many voters will find questions on their ballots concerning funding for their local school districts.
Tuesday, May 2nd is Election Day in Michigan. Many voters will head to the polls to decide on a number of issues but many will include funding for schools.

Voters in Kent and Ottawa counties will decide a number of questions. Many districts will ask voters to renew an operating millage.
Kent County:
-Wyoming will decide on millage increase to fund public safety needs.
-Caledonia Community Schools a proposal for a new elementary school and other upgrades.
-Comstock Park Public Schools asks for a bond to fund security enhancements and classroom upgrades.
Ottawa County:
-Grand Haven Township voters will decide on a proposal to build a new fire and rescue station.
-Grand Haven Area Public Schools needs extra funding for a new middle school, security upgrades and infrastructure updates.
-Holland voters will decide on allowing the sale of city property to make way for development along the Macatawa shoreline.
-Spring Lake Public Schools will ask voters to provide funds for new additions and remodeling at the High School.
