Vintage Vibes of Battle Creek announces their Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Thursday, August 1st.

(BATTLE CREEK, Mich.) — (Press Release) - Vintage Vibes of Battle Creek will hold their Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Thursday, August 1st, at 2505 Capital Ave SW Battle Creek, MI.

The mission of Vintage Vibes of BC is to bring awareness and education to Human Trafficking.

With the marriage of Doreen and Eric’s son to Linda and Mike’s daughter, the Mother in Laws were born. It was through friendship and life events that laid on their hearts the burden for survivors of Human Trafficking.

The Mother in Laws began to explore ideas of how they could help, thus the creation of opening booths with refurbished items that had been bought or donated and could be sold. The funds were then donated to organizations that help survivors of human trafficking.

As time went along, they expanded into two other locations. However, with the onset of COVID, it was necessary to re-evaluate the retail business model. The decision was made to close all but one location and wait to see what God’s plan was. After much prayer and reflection, Doreen and Eric, with the support of Linda and Mike, felt the Lord calling them to open their own retail space in Battle Creek. This led to the opening of Vintage Vibes of BC at 2505 Capital Ave SW, allowing Poppy’s Vintage Shoppe to donate 10% overall profits and the “Mother-in-Law” booth to donate 100% of its proceeds to help survivors of trafficking.

Vintage Vibes of BC is a quaint vintage shop with Artisans chosen for their unique talents, as well as their support of the shop’s mission. This allows the store to offer a variety of styles and decor to meet all types of taste and trends.
