Thousands of flights were again cancelled or delayed this weekend. May make getting home difficult this week.

Over the weekend, thousands of flights were cancelled or delayed as staffing shortages again affected airlines and travelers.

Airlines around the country reported long lines as travelers attempted to head to a sunny destination to kick off the 4th of July weekend.  With packed flights that were getting delayed or even cancelled, airlines were trying to get pilots into the seats offering new incentives to avoid strikes.

Because of this, it could signal a difficult week of travel as airlines are seeing backed up flights, crowded planes, and no sign pilots may be willing to help take off.

Check with your airlines or airport to see if your flight is still on-time.
