Six, $50,000 winners in the MI Shot To Win vaccine sweepstakes, were announced today.
(Detroit Free Press) - Six more Michiganders, including two from Oakland County and the first from the Upper Peninsula and Thumb areas, will have tens of thousands of dollars more to burn as the latest winners in the "MI Shot To Win" COVID-19 vaccine sweepstakes.
The Protect Michigan Commission announced the newest winners of the $50,000 daily prizes Wednesday. The latest winners and their vaccination dates are:
- Debbie Cameron, of Port Huron, July 14
- Brianna Hrejsa, of Grand Rapids, July 18
- Brian Louissa, of West Bloomfield, July 19
- Diedre Malloy, of Kincheloe in the U.P., July 20
- Joshua Long, of Grand Rapids, July 21
- Joel Cotton, of South Lyon, July 22
They join 16 other Michiganders who have won $50,000 daily drawings in the sweepstakes after getting their first doses of the COVID vaccine last month. LaTonda Anderson, of Grand Blanc, won the $1 million prize.
The nine, four-year college scholarship winners and additional daily winners will be named Aug. 11. The $2 million grand prize winner will be announced Aug. 18.
Protect Michigan Commission Director Kerry Ebersole Singh and Small Business Association of Michigan President, and former Michigan Lt Gov., Brian Calley announced the fourth-round winners.
