Several motions have been thrown out for not having merit.
Several defense motions concerning evidence were thrown out in the attempted kidnapping of Governor Whitmer plot.
The court ruled the motions were without merit and covered evidence and testimony that hasn’t been introduced or occurred. The motions were not ruled untimely, but were determined to be premature. The ruling does not preclude the motions from being submitted at a later date.
Six men face federal and state charges in the alleged plot.
