The Federal Government is making masks available through the national stockpile starting this week.
Some 400 million N95 face masks are expected to be distributed for free starting this week.
The Biden administration ordered the personal protective equipment distribution to pharmacies and local health agencies. The move is an effort to curb the spread of the Coronavirus and the associated variants that have risen over the last few months. The masks come from the nation's strategic stockpile and will be made available free of charge.
The White House calls this "the largest deployment of personal protective equipment in US history."
