Plans call for a 10 fold increase in refugee admissions in one year.
Bethany Christian Services is applauding plans to increase the cap on refugees entering the United States in 2022. Chis Palusky, President and CEO of Bethany Christian Services says "This proposal will lead to the joyous reunification of families who have been apart for years and it will allow more families to stay together as they safely resettle as a unit."
The US Refugee Admissions program plans to allow 10 thousand refugees into the states in 2021. By 2022, that cap is expected to be raised to 125-thousand people.
