Many local organizations are providing free thanksgiving meals for those in need.
Thanksgiving Meals for local residents:
-Sunday, Nov. 21 (5-6:30pm) - Muskegon High School, 80 W Southern Ave.
-Monday and Tuesday , Nov. 22 & Nov. 23, (7:30am-10:30am) - Thanksgiving Basket giveaway at Men's Shelter, 400 Laketon Ave., Muskegon. There are some requirements as to who can get the baskets, info at: muskegonmission.org.
-Wed. Nov. 24 (5-6pm) God's Kitchen will host a community Feast at Portage Chapel Hill church, 7028 Oakland Dr, Portage
-Wed. Nov. 24 (6pm) Holland Rescue Mission will host the Great Thanksgiving Banquet at DeVos Fieldhouse, 222 Fairbanks Ave., Holland
-Thur. Nov. 25 (10am-1pm) Thanksgiving Meal at Battle Creek Central High School, 100 W Van Buren St., Battle Creek
-Thur. Nov. 25 (11am-1pm) Mel Trotter Ministries host a Community Meal at DeVos Place, 303 Monroe Ave NW, Grand Rapids

United Way of Southwest Michigan and Meijer stores are joining forces!

Pre-registration for Berrien County residents required to receive one of 150 Thanksgiving food baskets. Drive-through distribution to take place at Kinexus on Nov. 20.
For the fourth year in a row, the Meijer Stevensville & Benton Harbor stores are providing 150 Thanksgiving food baskets to those in need of holiday food assistance in Berrien County. To receive a basket, advance registration is required by calling 2-1-1.
Pickup of the Thanksgiving baskets will be held on Saturday, November 20 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Kinexus, 499 W. Main St., Benton Harbor. Berrien County residents who have pre-registered for a basket will remain in their cars while volunteers place food in vehicles.
