12/21/12 - President to Authorize Home Test Kits for Americans

The President's plan includes 500 million at home test kids for Covid-19.

Fearing the latest onslaught of the Coronavirus variants, President Biden is announcing the purchase of 500 million home test kits for Americans.

"I'm announcing today, the Federal Government will purchase one half billion, that's not million, billion with a 'B'.  Additional at home rapid test with delivery starting in January.  Be getting these tests to Americans for free."

The President also announcing more testing sites will be opened as the Omicron variant is surging around the world and here in the United States.  Close to 73 percent new infections were attributed to the variant last week.

The President says Americans have suffered immensely under the waves of the virus but our situation is different than in the past.  We are more informed, well equipped and better prepared to fight.  The President says Americans must unite and fight the virus together.
