2/10/22 - Allegan County Plans to Shutter Recycling Site

The company that owns the property plans to sell.

Allegan County will shut down their regional recycling site next month.  The Regional Recycling Depot Site located at 3310 M-40, Hamilton 48419 will permanently close effective March 1, 2022.


This decision was based upon input from the Resource Recovery Program participating local units of government and discussions with Republic Services which owns the property.  The company plans to place the property up for sale.  The county says several companies still plan to offer recycling services.
