Investigators are looking into the cause of two area fires....one in Muskegon the other in Kalamazoo County.
Early Sunday morning crews were called to a house fire in Wakeshema Township, east of Vicksburg.
A neighbor noticed the fire and called 911.
The house had no working smoke detectors and was a total loss.
Those inside were able to escape but two people had minor burns and were taken to the hospital.
Also Sunday morning firefighters were called to a suspicious fire in Muskegon County.
A residence on Whitehall Road went up in flames.
Nearby police found the body of a man who had been fatally shot.
Police said an investigation is underway and both incidents are believed to be related.
