Flight delays and cancellations strand a number of families headed out for Spring Break.

Airlines canceled more than 3,5000 U.S. flights over the weekend and delayed thousands more.

Several airlines said that operations are trying to return to normal.

Severe weather is partly to blame as well as airspace congestion, technology issues and the high number of people wanting to travel by air.

FlightAware, a website that tracks flights, said most of the disruptions were at several Florida airports, including Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa and Orlando, as well a Baltimore, New York and other airports around the country.

People on social media complained about waiting on hold or in lines for hours to get their canceled flights rescheduled and being stranded.

Healthy people don’t need a doctor – sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent.
