County Commissioners will meet again tonight after more questions were raised regarding a 300 million dollar project.
A planned arena and events center in Kalamazoo is on hold for a little while longer.
Kalamazoo County Commissioners failed to adopt a measure on the 300-million dollar arena that has been touted since 2003. Developers want to build a center that includes ice hockey and basketball facilities, along with a concert venue and other opportunities for local businesses to have space.
Advocates of the plan say they will add jobs without using tax payer dollars.
Some commissioners questioned a time line and access for minority owned businesses.
Commissioners will meet during a special meeting tonight after Commissioners on Tuesday were unable to adopt the project.
The special meeting is scheduled for tonight at 7pm.
