Jurors went home last night after a third day of deliberations ended with no decision in the trial of four men accused of plotting to kidnap the Governor.
Jurors will return to downtown Grand Rapids for day four of deliberations in the alleged plot to kidnap the Governor. Four men are on trial accused of conspiring to take Gretchen Whitmer from her vacation home because they were angry with her Covid-19 policies, as well as those of the federal government. Defense lawyers had argued the four were entrapped.
If convicted, the four men could face life in prison when sentenced.
