Michigan auto owners were to have received a check for each insured vehicle.
Monday, May 9,2022, was the deadline for Michiganders to have received their no fault auto insurance refunds. As part of a reform bill, the $400 cash refunds were to be issued to the owner of each vehicle that was insured.
Most people already received the funds. Some may still be waiting. They are instructed to wait a few more days because the delay could have been due to addresses or bank information that was not clear or delayed because it is being sent in the mail.
By the end of the week if you have not received it, you may want to reach out to your insurance company.
The no fault auto insurance reform payments are required to be in cash to the customer and no substitutions should be accepted.
