Some communities are seeing a rise in positive COVID-19 tests and the government wants you to know that more free tests are available.
(MSN) - United States residents can now order more free COVID-19 tests from the federal government.
This is the government's third time offering this service, and each order comes with eight rapid antigen tests. The tests will come in two separate packages, each delivered by the United States Postal Service.
Any household that wants the tests can order them by going to COVIDtest.gov, entering their name and address, and clicking "check out now."
This comes as Michigan, and the country, are seeing a rapid increase in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations.
Just last week, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that 16 Michigan counties fall under the "high-risk" category, and recommended that all residents in the counties wear masks again in indoor, public places.
The first round of free tests was sent out in January, and the second round opened in March.
