5/31/22 - Local Lives Lost In Deadly Car Accidents

There were a number of deadly car accidents over the holiday weekend.

Early Tuesday morning, a fatal accident took place near the Allendale campus of Grand Valley State University.  Police say the vehicle was on 48th Avenue in Georgetown Township, when the driver lost control, went into a ditch and the vehicle rolled several times.  Those inside the vehicle were not wearing seatbelts. 

There was a fatal crash in Allegan County Monday morning after a minivan went down an embankment and hit a tree along 108th Avenue.  David Beagle from Pullman, was the only person inside. 

Monday evening there was a fatal crash involving a motorcycle in Muskegon County.  It took place along Colby St. near Holton Whitehall Road at a Wesco station near Whitehall.  The driver of a van was coming out of the parking lot and drove into the path of the motorcycle.  The driver of the van and passengers, were not injured.
