Groups are working to prevent the increase of gun violence cases.

Stories surrounding gun violence continue to make headlines across the country.

Holland held a weekend event called "Wear Orange", which was part of a national movement accompanying National Gun violence Awareness Day.

Many in attendance said they support the second amendment but at the same time support reasonable restrictions on gun ownership and carrying.

Meanwhile in Kalamazoo, the Urban Alliance Youth Camps are creating a series of day camps that will target young people and emphasize breaking the cycle of gun violence.

Life Camp will be offered one day a month during June, July, and August and is geared toward those between the ages of 11 & 16.

Encouraging Words From Your Bible

Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.
