7/21/22 - Two Lives Lost In Fatal Motorcycle Accident

A motorcycle was hit by a vehicle and as a result, two people lost their lives and one person was arrested.

KALAMAZOO COUNTY — The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motorcycle/vehicle crash Wednesday evening.

The crash took place around 5:30 p.m. on Douglas Avenue near West C Avenue in Cooper Township.

Deputies believe speed and alcohol were factors in that crash when the two collided.

The driver of the motorcycle and the passenger, both died as a result of their injuries.

The at-fault vehicle driver was arrested.
