A historic vote could usher in a new era as Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson
Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson is expected to be confirmed to the US Supreme Court today.
The Senate votes late this morning to move the nomination forward after hearings that centered on her positions as both a judge and former defense attorney.
At least three Republicans have announced they plan to vote in support of her nomination.
If confirmed, Brown Jackson would become the first African American woman to become a US Supreme Court Justice.
