April 7th is World Health Day, with a focus on multiple factors impacting access to and improvements in physical health.

Today is World Health Day, a time to focus on improving our personal health, but also to address issues that stand in the way of improving health around the world.  Dr. Rudigar Krech with the World Health Organization, says current social, political, and environmental challenges have a dramtic impact on global health.

WHO estimates that more than 13 million deaths around the world each year are due to avoidable environmental causes.
