The footage from inside the Robb Elementary School during the mass shooting, showed dysfunction between responders and police standing around waiting for instructions as the Schools Police Chief pleaded with the shooter to stop.
The newly released bodycam footage from May 24, showed a lack of urgency among officers.
19 fourth graders and 2 teachers lost their lived in that shooting incident on April 24.

The bodycam footage does show the officers helping children escape the school building out the window of another classroom. That happened about 25 minutes after the first police responded.
The police response to the mass shooting has been intensely scrutinized.
