Several new amenities have been added at The Highlands to enhance the winter fun experience.
There’s no snow on the ground yet but resorts are gearing up for winter travel. For our WCSG’s Travelin Together series we explore the new offerings at The Highlands.
Nestled in Harbor Springs, The Highlands has made a number of improvements to enhance the experience for skiers as well as for those who just want to enjoy the winter outdoors. For skiers, The Highlands has added a new Interconnect triple to make ascents faster and easier to the northern end’s 14 runs. This is the second new lift in two years. In addition, new snow making equipment is expected to allow the resort to open terrain earlier this season.
Skiing programs for all ages have been implemented, including multi-week and private lessons available. Lessons for various ages have been added to help beginners as well as those with a few years of skiing under their belts.
Several new casual dining options have also been added. The resort has also brought back their popular Waffle Cabin for an added sweet treat. For more information on reservations, activities, and dining options, visit their website - The Highlands.
