Step back in time to the old schoolhouse, not far from the blacksmith shop. Blandford Nature Center is helping us to better understand life in Michigan.
You can take a step back in time and experience life in a historic village in West Michigan this weekend. The Blandford Nature Center is our location for this week’s WCSG’s Travelin’ Together stop. The historic village includes an old log cabin, schoolhouse, and blacksmith shop. There will also be guides to help you better understand the life those pioneers experienced.
Also part of this weekend, the Center’s Wildlife Education Specialists will have animal artifacts and touchables available for you to explore and learn more about Michigan wildlife. Specialists will be on hand in the lobby to help describe the animals' adaptations, survival techniques, and other fun facts.
All will be open and is free this weekend to the public. You can learn more by visiting their website Blandford Nature Center.
