A one of a kind, five-story playground awaits in central Michigan.
A one-of-a-kind adventure playground is just a few miles away for this week's WCSG’s Travelin’ Together stop.
The Castaway Play in Howell offers a five-story tall, enclosed play structure, complete with multiple slides, a suspension bridge and a web elevator. It’s big enough that kids and adults can safely play inside. A newly renovated obstacle course includes trampolines, a zip line, and a trapeze.
For the little ones, three and under, there is a toddler play area. This is a scaled down version of the larger enclosed play area. Also for the younger kids, there's a special indoor bounce section, complete with multiple bounce houses. The separate structures offer enclosed, soft material structures for kids to play in. Many of these inflatables also have slides.
For all the play areas where shoes are not required, the facility does ask that kids and students wear socks.
A two-story rock climbing wall will challenge your climbing skills. Safety equipment is included. You can try out the new multiple sports simulator and test your skills at football, hockey, and baseball, among other sports. The adventure continues with other amenities for older kids such as laser tag and an arcade.
Onsite facilities include a small cafe with a hot and cold menu, complete with snacks.
The Castaway Place is closed Sunday and Monday but offers various hours throughout the rest of the week. For more information visit their website Castaway Play.
