Even without an abundance of snow, Petoskey will host their annual Winter Wonderland Weekend, Feb. 16-19, 2024

PETOSKEY, Mich. - The city of Petoskey will hold their Winter Wonderland Weekend, Feb. 16-19, 2024 and the weekend will include food, festivities, and fun. 

Winter Wonderland Weekend will feature ice carving demonstrations, Downtown shopping and restaurant specials, a scavenger hunt through the Downtown shops, and a Downtown Dollars shopping contest, all held within the boundaries of the Downtown Petoskey Social District.

Back by popular demand, during our Winter Wonderland Weekend, enjoy the return of the Petoskey Chili Trail. Saturday, February 17 from 2:00 to 4:00 in Downtown Petoskey, over 16 downtown businesses will be participating this year. Each one will be serving their very own chili recipe which will be free for you to eat. Make sure you save the date and arrive early before all of the chili is gone.

The weekend will also include indoor activities.  The Crooked Tree Arts Center will host music and a winter-themed art opportunity for the entire family.  The library also features a number of special events for the family. 

The extended forecast for next weekend calls for high temperatures to be below freezing.  Area ski resorts will continue making snow for skiing, snowboarding and tubing.  Fat tire biking is still an option and if you want to stay indoors the indoor water park is open at Boyne Mountain at Avalanche Bay.
