A spring festival is taking place during the month of March at Crystal Mountain. There are plenty of snow related activities that will continue each weekend.
(THOMPSONVILLE, Mich.) - "March at the Mountain" is back again at Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville, Michigan.
The resort is hosting a number of events each Saturday during the month of March to celebrate spring Up North.
There will be a number of snow-filled events.
On March 11, events included a creative sled contest, cardboard classic race, and slush cup.
On March 18, Slush Cup will continue. You can ski or ride through a giant pit of icy slush. There will also be kayaks on the snow race and plenty of activities to celebrate St. Patrick's weekend.
March 25 will be Retro Day. Come dressed in retro-wear. There will be a costume contest and a DJ tent on the patio.
Each of the themed weekends will offer a slope-side barbecue, live music, and on-slope scavenger hunt activities.
Each weekend, reservations can also be made for: fat tire bike rental, snowshoe rental, ice skate rental, archery, horse-drawn surrey rides and outdoor laser tag.
Skiing and snowboarding will continue to be offered on the slopes.
