The WCSG Travelin Together series has us peddling easy along Route #1 of the Great Lake to Lake trail. Spanning from South Haven to Port Huron, the trail covers nine counties and multiple communities.
With warmer weather ahead, our WCSG Travelin’ Together series takes a look at one of the most adventurous cycling trips in the state.
You’ll want to plan your trip along Route #1 of the Great Lake to Lake trail, which covers 275 miles from South Haven to Port Huron. Along the way, you’ll cross nine counties as you traverse the state’s first fully marked destination trail. Multiple inns or campsites are available for lodging and you’ll take in plenty of sites in Kalamazoo, Jackson, Brighton, and Rochester Hills.
