Moms are celebrated this weekend at Potter Park Zoo. They can meet a new mother as well as enjoy free admission on Sunday.
If you’re thinking about a last-minute gift for mom, you might want to consider a unique activity that includes the whole family.
Our WCSG Travelin’ Together series highlights the Potter Park Zoo in Lansing. The 20-acre zoo is enclosed in an 80-acre park and houses over 350 animals, from big cats to small creepy crawling reptiles. Opening this weekend is the popular “EDVenture” Farmyard. Featuring pygmy goats, cattle, burros, chickens, and pigs. Also starting this weekend are camel rides. Molly, Maple, and Joy will be happy to have you ‘jump on their hump.’
The zoo is also celebrating a new mom – the mother of the new Tufted Deer Fawn born last month. And to top it off, moms get in free this Sunday.
