The museum offers dozens of hands-on activities that make learning fun and exciting.
Your kids can both learn and have fun as part of this week’s WCSG’s Travelin’ Together.
Our stop this week is along the lakeshore at The Muskegon Museum of Science and History. With permanent exhibits that cover the waterways, as well as animals of both the past and present, the museum offers fun learning opportunities. The science area will help your child understand how their bodies need proper nutrition in order to play and learn.
Kids can also explore in the interactive STEM center, helping them understand how science and technology work in our everyday lives.
Also this summer, the museum is offering multiple workshops for kids, including STEM workshops, and environmental day camps. Kids can explore various aspects of the surrounding county, while at the museum discovering various fun science and history topics.
The museum is not open on Memorial Day, but is open this weekend.
