Dozens of balloons will light up the bay for an event unlike any other. Family friendly events will take place on Saturday to the delight of all the members of your family.
This week’s WCSG’s Travlin’ Together looks to next weekend where we’ll visit Balloons Over Bay Harbor.
The 5th annual event, the festival in the community along Lake Michigan in between Petoskey and Charlevoix, draws dozens of amazing balloons and pilots who are taking part in races and performances across the country. Thousands of spectators come to witness the balloon launches and night glows, taking part in a festival that celebrates flight at a more leisurely pace.
On the ground, a fun run, as well as art, lots of food and music will highlight the festive atmosphere. Saturday will have plenty of family friendly events starting around 11am.
